I constantly have to mediate arguments between my Mother & Stepfather. Their disagreements are never too heated and always about the same thing, my mothers Yorkshire terrier! In one ear, I am forever listening to him complain about the dog like it’s a love rival. In the other ear its constant whining about his jealousy of the dog. I actually have a life of my own but I cannot escape. They stop by my house arguing about the dog, they call me on the phone arguing about the dog. What can I do!

Why is it that no matter how I say no, really it's no, no thank you,I said no, no one will accept no for an answer and they keep on and on. Many of these poeple have the best intentions and just want to help, but sometimes I don't want their help. What do you say.
I know why some do....pay back. And sometimes it's because they are asking for special reasons.
