are ears different from the rest of your skin? I'm not just talking inner
"major-wax-producer" ear. I'm talking about the exterior ear. Is it different from the regular epidermis (i.e. the one that covers say your arms and legs). Are the outer ears different somehow and do they secrete wax as well?

Well, i'm not well versed in the subject but by simple touch they do feel the same. However the skin of your ear seems to bleed less when cut than the skin of your arm. Also, ears are a bit softer and more delicate (they burn with the sun). I think ear wax only comes from the inside ear.Originally Posted by Shalot

If researchers are correct, evolution has prompted the human male to choose for his mate a human female who
fits a certain standard of beauty ( the standard of which the researchers have also discovered varies very little across cultures and centuries.)
If that is the case -- if males have mated with beautiful women for millennia , why is the world filled with so many unattractive people?
