    Help with Macbeth

Hello everyone. I am writing a high-school paper on the blood motif in Macbeth. I am having trouble particularly with good quotes for each part of the motif that I am discussing. I have posted my outline below:

Introduction: Macbeth, a dark tragedy by William Shakespeare, tells the tale of an over-ambitious king.
Thesis: Shakespeare uses the blood motif to set the atmosphere of a scene, to measure the strength of characters, to measure the weakness of characters, and as a symbol emphasizing a theme.

    I. To set the atmosphere
    A. The bloody seargeant
    B. (5.2.1-5)
II. To measure strength in a character
    A. Lady Macbeth at the murder of Duncan
    B. Macbeth in war
    III. To measure weakness
    A. Macbeth at the murder of Duncan
    B. Macbeth at the banquet
    IV. Emphasizing a theme
    A. Ambition
    B. Evil

I am also having trouble with the I. B.
I am not sure how these lines are setting the atmosphere, perhaps because I'm also having trouble deciphering the lines. If anyone has any pointers, ideas or helpful comments that would be awesome. Thanks

Also if this is in the wrong place I'm sorry, I'm fairly new here (ignore the join date, I haven't hardly posted anything)
