I used to have lots of hobbies, then I became a Mom.
That's like the hobby of the century!
And lets see I have lots of hobbies! First I like reading! I used to read all the time. In fact I read so much I was shy......wow. But than I discovered....the internet! Than my life changed. I stopped reading and my life became the computer. It still is actually. But now I've been getting more and more into reading.
Than I have Anime/Manga. My life source. My dream honestly is to become a manga artist and move to Japan, making drawing another of my hobbies. Perhaps sometime I can post a few pictures.
Anything else. Oh yes. Danny Phantom. I haven't been so obsessed with an American cartoon since I was a baby wondering how the people got into the tv! ^^

i have no hobbies except for reading. well there are actually a million things i want to do, such as listening to music, learning to make music, playing the piano, learning to play the guitar, learning to play the drus, revisiting my violin case, taking a walk, riding my bike, going to the beach, hiking, going to the museums, learning about philosophy, learning about history, learning about every single subject you can think of, traveling to europe, traveling in asia, sketching, drawing, writing, observing nature, watching all the old movies, watching all the good movies, watching all the bad movies for the fun of it, learning how to use the computer, etc. etc.

but alas, i have no time. which is why i can only settle with reading. books are my friends.

    What's your hobby???

This may be a thread already, but what are your hobbies? We all know that we all like to read and maybe even write, but what else to you like to do in your free time?

For me it is cooking. I know this is a daily chore in most houses, but I love to cook. I'll sometimes spend hours making an elabrate meal. I have also been trying to cook and bake with my son. Making meatloaf is great fun when you are 4, and we're hoping to make bat sugar cookies for Halloween. I also love to quilt and crochet. Crocheting keeps me seated and satifies my need to fidget, and I just love the end result of quilting. Whenever I finally finish my daughter's quilt I'll post a picture.

aw, cooking must be such a nice hobby. i wish my dad would teach me how to do it.

my main hobbies apart from reading are swimming, running a group for kids (8-12 y/o) with my best friend+ going on a camp with those brats once a year, going out with my best friend (Starbucks, restaurants, windowshopping) and watching films in English.
I like lots of other things, too, but I won't list them all here. zzzZZZZ

One hobby? Oh, I have too many. And they are all listed on my profile page.
I sang of leaves, of leaves of gold, and leaves of gold there grew.

When I'm not reading or studying, I like to watch films or sci-fi programs, or just relax and listen to music. I also love cross-stitching, but I haven't been able to do that for awhile. My "eyepower" is all used up in reading.

writing, but who doesn't like it?
Ethel Mertz: Gee, this high altitude sure gives me an appetite.
Fred Mertz: What's your excuse at sea level?

Fred Mertz: Now what are we supposed to do? Thumb a ride on a passing halibut?
Ricky Ricardo: I can't afford it.
Lucy Ricardo: Those must have been the first English words you learned.

    Word to Bulletproof.

My hobbies are: collecting autographs (from athletes, authors etc), following my various sports teams, biking when time permits, dodging library fines, drawing dumb things when I should be drawing homework, my mission to know every word to every Dean Martin song and watching all his movies, and knowing everything possible about dolphins and species of. Smaller satellite hobbies are Sherlock Holmes, dinosaurs, and John Wayne's cowboy movies.

    Music! Non-mainstream.

    Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
    Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
    And whether pigs have wings."

Painting/Drawing, listening to music...researching stuff and movies!! I love going to see movies in theater. Renting movies is fun as well. Lately whenever I have free time I just vegetate because I'm so tired from studying or applying to schools. But now I have some art projects I have to do so yay! But I'm constantly listening to music.

I like to cook, but prefer baking...but I don't anymore. I made a huge mess and lets just say the Madre was not to happy!

    Writing - always and forever.

And cooking, of course. Mostly desserts - I'm a typically girl in that aspect.

When I have time, Counted cross stitch, knitting, but mostly genealogy research. I love researching our family tree and trying to find out who we were and where we've been.

I taught myself to knit and can only knit flat things, baby blankets, afagans, and scarves.
