Haha Vladimir...let see I can only think of one Vlad which is Vladimir Kramnik. I know it is very common, even more so is Mikhail and Ivan. Petrov is an old fashioned one? I am in love with Russian names. I know a lot more of male than female for some reason. Is Alexey a female name? I know a lot of Russian Alexey chess players... Alexei Shirov, Alexey Dreev, um, okay, two. I love the name Ilya, Nikolai, Ivan, Petrov, Mikhail, Nekhem (?), Vladimir, all of them...of Ilya's I can think of two chess GMs, Ilya Smirin and Ilya Gurevich. Both are international grandmasters. There was Alexander Alexandrovitch Alekhine, Mikhail Mikhailovitch Botvinnik, Mihkail Nekhemovitch Tal, Anatoly Karpov, Garry Kasparov, all of whom where world champion Russians. My middle name is Alexander, I've loved Alyosha from The Brothers Karamazov, but no one will really call me that or Alexey, but sometimes I go by Alex. Haha but I love Russian names, usually there are a lot of good ones...it's strange. My first name, Jacob, I never really liked for some reason. It doesn't matter though. But I love Russian names, I would love almost any Russian name, so why didn't my parents name me thus? I love them!
And now, uh...bakiryu not a name yet? Beatrix

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. ~ Mark Twain

Ethel Mertz: Gee, this high altitude sure gives me an appetite.
Fred Mertz: What's your excuse at sea level?
Fred Mertz: Now what are we supposed to do? Thumb a ride on a passing halibut?
Ricky Ricardo: I can't afford it.
Lucy Ricardo: Those must have been the first English words you learned.
