I was thinking that #2 was the fib, so cool that you have a patent, Papayahed!![]()

Well, in the interests of keeping the game moving, shall I see if I can fool you again?
1.) Although I was born in 1960, long after their heyday, I am a pulp fiction magazine fanatic, and collect heavily in that genre.
2.) Allan Quatermain has been one of my heroes, and emulating him, I do not use scopes for my rifles, yet I am a dead shot even at long range.
3.) I think Batman the best hero DC Comics ever had. It's easy to be a hero when you are the advantages like Superman, but Batman is an ordinary man who had to earn his way!

Pen, I was leaning toward 3, but I'm going with 2. It's hard to be a dead shot at long range without a scope and I only know one person who is. If I'm wrong I'll know two!
I still say #3. There are many more super heroes that I think you would have picked as your favorite over Batman. Maybe the Hulk or Green Hornet.
I would say you took more kindly to one with real SUPER POWERS over a weakling like Batman....![]()

#1 Well, I believe you do like this genre
#2 we know you like Quartermain, hmmm as for being a good shot..
#3 and we know you like comics....but is Batman your Fav?
Guess I'll go with #3, you seem like a Dr. Strange fan....LOL...![]()

After some searching I'm going with #2.

I'm with #2
Her heart is played like well worn strings; in her eyes the sadness sings; of one who was destined for better things.
Revelation time, eh?
Well.
1.) Asolutely true. I have every Doc Savage, every Shadow (in fact I write for a website devoted to The Shadow), most Spider's, many G-8's, Operator 5, etc. Someone had to have read my Case of the Cautious Casanova which is still somewhere on the short stories thread.
3.) Oh, yeah. The heroes who have to work to be one are my favorites, and from DC Comics, that would be Batman. With Marvel perhaps Daredevil or Captain America. Even Spiderman, because with all of his powers, he has to scrape for a living, not a millionare who never has to worry.
So MotherHubbard, Papayahed and Farnoosh got it right, but all is still not what it seems. I am a deadshot indeed without a scope with either my Marlin .22 or Winchester 1890 model 30-30. I can blow spots out of a playing card with my .22/.22 magnum sixgun pistol. The heroes I was trying to emulate were Wild Bill Hickock, Buffalo Bill Cody, and Annie Oakley. Except for King Solomon's Mines, I read Quartermain only after the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen movie, but I have most of the books now. On my Marlin .22 magnum rifle I have reluctantanly placed a scope, for 300+ yards. I would rather rely on my eyes.
But you ladies got the prize and one of you may go now!

2 truths and one big lie.
1.) I once spent an evening chatting with gang members in West Memphis, Arkansas, all of whom were wearing full "blood" colors and probably armed. I had on a suit and tie, and we spent an hour peacefully talking.
2.) Despite my many collections of Ghost Stories, I am firmly convinced that ghosts are figiments of imagination only and do not exist in any form. Never saw one, never will.
3.) Despite the fact that red is a color that is bad for my eyes and even can set off tension, it is my favorite color. My truck would be red, but I buy used vehicles, and they didn't have a red one. My daughter's Escort (used to be our car) is red, has almost 200,000 miles and doing fine!
Good luck!

Knowing of your travels, I believe #1 to be true. How could anyone make up West Memphis?
I also believe #3 to be true. I love the color red too.
So, I pick #2 as the lie. After all, all Southerners believe in Ghosts!
