the luminous grass of the prairie hides
feet lovely and still as sleeping doves,
porcelain bones strong enough to carry a life,
    but weighty and unmovable
    As black Dakota hills.

I love listening to anything by Evanescence.
I really like the song "Good Enough," so I spent six hours straight on my cello trying to figure it out and then perfect it and then figure out the accompaniment. Beleive me there were blisters on my fingers for a week!
I also like "The Whiskey Lullaby" by Brad Paisely. I used to cry every time I heard it. I love listening to The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, My Chemical Romance, Queen, The Electric Light Orchestra, Three Days Grace, Three Doors Down, Fall Out Boy, and Apocalyptica. I also love the musical The Phantom of the Opera.
If it's worth complaining about, it's completely worth doing yourself!

I had this song in my head when I woke up one morning. That was nice.

Aaron Copeland's Symphony #3. Great work, and that fourth movement, titled "Fanfare for the Common Man," is magnificent.
