Isn't that politically incorrect? Or does Indian mean Indian?

Frankly, young one, if it is "politically incorrect", one must lay the blame on Christopher Columbus, oui?

Ok Pen, my rusty Latin makes your question out as...don't you learn from your work? or more literally perhaps, you don't learn much from your senses? You will tell me if or how far my foot is in the bocal cavity?
I thought this thread would be a great window for asking specific, literature related questions. It morphed into the food channel and part time chat room, which is ok but then you have to keep alert for the well aimed question. Capiche? quasimodo1 ...ps: thread started by Pendragon

Wait - what are we talking about?
(Can't you tell I'm confused?)
Since it's questions only, you can post whatever you want to as long as it's in the form of a question, cant you? And it is hard to keep up with the conversation of questions isn't?

Why do you need to ask me that? Haven't you noticed that I'm having more than just a little trouble yet?

Why can't we all just get along?
I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.
Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice
To Pen: Safely esconcing the foot. Normally the smileys drive me crazy, which may not be a long trip, but your's live and really add something. The little book guy is great. Getting back from digression, would you believe that i had four years of Latin and was forced to read Virgil in original text? I well remember this bit..."Introibo ad alteri dei"?? It's not Virgil. quasi
Is Latin really dead?

Latin isn't dead, just recycled into the roots of the Romance languages. Knowing Latin can help you disect words and write classy introductions to novels. Not dead, but giving a transfusion to other languages. quasimodo1................................ Is Aramaic really dead?
Do you actually know someone who still speaks it?
And why is Pen's little chap reading his book backwards? Or is there something wrong with my eyes?
