I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.

Black tea... to settle the rush inside my mind..
and the left over from last night (cookies!!).. two of them (one already done with.. !) ... I wonder why they make faces on these things...
Two tiny round eyes and a big, broad smile...
a semblance of a tooth.. my cookie seems alive!

    *grabs the second one*

B&J'S Cookie dough ice cream. Tastes a bit off. think it might be out of date.

Maybe it should join mine ... last winter a mean little toaster was last seen being hurled off the back steps into a very large and beckoning snowbank ... my hubby wondered about that for days....

I am presently enjoying some coffee with oooomph (strong), and some Triscuits with slabs of marble cheese atop. Very addicting....

    raspberry fold-overs and jasmine tea

raspberry fold-overs are made with the left-over dough bits from a pie. You roll the dough, cut circles, put a swat of raspberry jam on and then fold it over, crimping down the edges. These are mouth watering, particularly if they are still warm. MMMMM!!
