    Unhappy Teddy or Proffeser?

When I first read "Little Woman" I thought it was the most boring book on the planet. Then, I started reading it one day because I didn't have any books to read. I got interested, so I kept on reading. Now, I'm only half way through, so, can I ask you something? Does Joe marry the proffeser like Teddy predicted? If she does, what do you think about it? Do you think she should have married Teddy or the proffeser?

Keep Reading - It's Worth It

Little Women is one of the first long novels I ever read, and I read it numerous times as a kid - i'm 45 now. I hate to ruin the suspense for you about whether Jo marries the prof or Laurie - so I won't tell ya, keep reading, it's worth it ~ and then read the followup "Jo's Boys" (you'll know the answer to your question by then) . . . man it's been yrs since i read it, i think i'll have to reread it. Rock on and keep reading - peace

Hopefully by now you know...I dont want to ruin it but I was kinda bummed she didnt end up with Laurie. They seem so much alike, and he really really cared for her.

I love this book. I just finished it myself for the first time and I hope you know the ending by now. I would like to say that I love that this book is different in that it's more realistic than most novels with romance. I like that it approached to idea of not marrying someone you love because it is not the right kind of love. I personally enjoy that Jo ended up with the professor. Not because I do not like Laurie but because it makes more sense. She and Laurie had many silly spats throughout their childhood and Laurie had a hard time of growing up and accepting responsibility. I like that Jo took this into account before jumping into a marriage. The professor seemed a better match in the end. :]
