    Schindler's List 10/10

The Spielberg films I enjoy are always the historic ones: Munich, Saving Private Ryan and now Schindler's List.

I laughed, was tense, and at the end some dust got in my eyes and made them water.

The actors produce some of the finest performances I've seen.

Have you watched the rest of the Trilogy?

I recommend it aswell. One of the best of 2006.

I've always wondered what the film would have been if Kubrick would have been able to finish it.

This is my favorite Burton film, but only one of my favorite Depp films. Can't wait to see Sweeney Todd!

    GOYA'S GHOSTS by Milos Forman - 10/10

Painter Francisco Goya faces a scandal involving one of his muses, a young girl who is sent to prison and tortured after being labeled a heretic by a monk.

Natalie Portman is amazing in this movie and i totally recommend it. Really great stuff.

I've read bad reviews and the movie has been shelfed for a year, but I would never miss a chance to see Portman in duel roles. I thought Stellan Skarsgård was an odd choice for Goya; how was he?

Actually i did not know anything about this movie, never read reviews. I've found it and bought it and loved it.

Goya is not the main character in this movie, he is just the link between the characters and the movie does not focus on him much. Natalie Portman and Javier Bardem both have magnificent performances.

Do not miss seeing this movie........... and then tell me what you think.

Sorry, that phrase sent to certain movies always makes me angry... dunno about this movie, tho, looks pretty bad. But I have no headphones so I can't watch movies...

Natalie P always surprises me, she was terrific in Garden State, I will look out for that movie Goya's Ghost as I haven't seen it.

    Do that.

I'm surprised the movie didn't get any attention.
It would be good to hear another opinion.

    Transformers. 6/10.

Absolutely ridiculous, but made up for it by not taking itself seriously (there were some great tongue-in-cheek moments) and having lots of explosions.

Good points: Surprisingly okay acting (what acting there was), great CGI, adrenaline pumping action.

Bad points: Nonsensical plot. Also, it couldn't make up its mind whether to be a comedy or an action film, or targetted at kids or adults, and consequently kind of fell between two stools. Minimal or no character development other than the two leads.

Then again what was I expecting? It's Michael Bay, for Christ's sake.

I also just saw "Goya's Ghost" and agree with the good reviews here. I would only add that Javier Bardem is stand out. His face is incredible. Also, there is one scene in that movie which I found to be inexplicably excruiating to watch (the dinner party). I admire the skill that went into crafting such a scene. Never seen anything quite like it. Just sorry that movie probably won't get a wider release.

Cast Away - it`s old, I have watched it before.
I give it 8/10.. or maybe 9/10.. but not 10/10 because I didn`t like the ending..
