    New scent for cologne:
salt seas whipped and tamed inside
    bathroom stored bottles.

    something's going on
    behind the spinning atom
    but we can't see it.
    and somehow a dog
has taken itself & its tail considerably away
into the mountains or sea or sky, leaving
    behind: me, wag.

    but we cant see it
    whatever hovers behind
    that stained old curtain
    .
...the smell of flowers through metal labyrinths.

    do you want to know
    the happy housewife's secret?
    Bathroom stored bottles.

    Bathroom stored bottles.
    Pastel containers of glass,
    what do they contain?

ahhh, that's too funny. Nice to see you around Riesa.

    what do they contain
to trick the winter ice, heavy
    snow, and sprout again?

    Wrapped in sweet slumber
    Unaware of the world around
    He enjoys his dreams
I sang of leaves, of leaves of gold, and leaves of gold there grew.

    He enjoys his dreams,
    His escape from reality—
    Life has become harsh…
    Some of us laugh
    Some of us cry
    Some of us smoke
    Some of us lie
But it's all just the way
that we cope with our lives...

    Life has become harsh...
    the world's agonies displayed.
    A child's hungry cry.

    a child's hungry cry
    goes unheard, unattended
    what world we live in

    turned heads and blind eyes--
    cries go unheard, deaths unseen.
    peace is murdered cold.

    hope forever lost
