    Shoes

what's your favorite pair? do you wear uncomfy ones if they look good? do you even care about shoes?
i just got my first pair of steel-toes and they're "simply loverly"! pretty, soft brown, and totally *****in'!
am curious, and have been wondering for a week or so.

do you think shoes say anything about a person? i think they do and yet they don't. like if someone would love to be dressy etc. but would rather cherish their feet and put on something kind instead, that says nothing; but on the other hand, you can make quite the statement with them so -

    tell us!
    shh!!!
the air and water have been here a long time, and they are telling stories.

I own a mere 3 pairs of shoes; in order of which I wear most often: black Dr. Martens, black Converse One Stars (not All Stars), and a black pair of formal dress shoes.
To answer your question, amuse, I feel that what a person wears voluntarily, including shoes, and with permitting finances, can reflect his/her self (as vague as that sounds). I tend to maintain a fairly clean-cut appearance, which may indicate that, though I usually fear no one's judgment of my looks, I enjoy looking decent to carry out its own results without my desperate attempt.

I wear flip-flops from March to October.

Mono, my uncle used to get made fun of, because the only shoes he ever wore were Chuck T's. He had a plethora of colors for various occasions. He got made fun of all through the 80s and early 90s for wearing these shoes that everyone felt were out of style. He loved them, because he wore them growing up and just thought they were a comfortable sneaker.

Then the mid 90s came along, the grunge tip started to evolve and all of a sudden, my uncle was cool again.

    Man, is that devotion.

I bought shoes made of rubber because I thought they were so ugly. The sole is blue and all around are pink flowers, when I saw them I thought, what kind of an idiot would wear this, I decided to be that idiot.

I’ve got more shoes than Amelda (sp?) – well maybe not.

I’ve got hiking shoes, biking shoes, running shoes, walking shoes, shiny shoes, stinky shoes, shower shoes.

I’ve got leather shoes, canvas shoes, plastic shoes, woolen shoes, pool shoes, and some of those socks with little piece of shoe leather sewn on the bottom.

I’ve got work shoes, school shoes, vacation shoes, and kickin’ around the neighborhood shoes.

I’ve got fast shoes, slow shoes, high shoes, low shoes, pretty shoes, ugly shoes, comfy shoes, pointy shoes.

    Everybody now… lalalala.

Hey, I think that I just wandered into a Dr. Suess thread.
    Uhhhh...

I have a pair of sandles and a pair of shoes... I am sure they have a name but it is alluding me right now. lol Anyways, I have others, but I never wear them... Just the sandles in the summer and the shoes the rest of the time. I am thinking about getting some winter shoes, but that suede style is in and although they aren't bad, I will only wear them if they come in blue. Which they do... but I can't find any!
