I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.

Ah, I can relate with this. My mother, a few weeks ago, had lost her mobile phone. I hope unlike my mother (she never got it back), your mother would be able to get the purse back.
