Would you endeavor to help someone who easily outweighs you up a rocky cliff face when they have frozen in terror on a tiny ledge over about a 600 foot drop and neither of you have any climbing equipment? Remember, if you fail and he falls, both of you go, and you can easily reach the top, being totally unafraid...but if you leave him, he will die before you can get back with help. (This actually happened to me. I am unafraid of heights.)

Depends on the severity of the crime.

Impersonating an Officer.....maybe.
Embezzlement...... certainly not.

I know my mother better than I know anyone I guess. In a case like this, I would turn her in so she could get help, becase she would have to loose her mind to commit such a crime.

Oh, and on the previous question by me, I was once much lighter, medicine put a lot of weight on me quickly. I weighed a solid 240 pounds at the time and my brother went about 270. We we were free climbing a rock face over a deep gorge. He froze and could not move. I could easlily have escaped, but I knew he would fall before I could get help. Amazing the strenght you have when there's no other way. I got him out at great risk to my own life. Now, my balance is off, but at 300+ I can still climb the climbing walls.
