    Log Out issue

It has happened to me several times before. Sometimes when I take some time writing a reply, but not an amount of time I would consider a lot, I get a message that I've been logged out, and then I have to log in again, with the problem that the message I wrote is lost in the process, and then I have to start again. Is there any way to avoid this, or to lenghten the amount of time before this happens?

Yea i experienced the same thing before Cris..when that happened here's what i do, i didnt click the back button, but click ALT and left arrow buttons. this way i'd be brought to the previous page and i didnt lost what i have wrote. Then I just need to copy it, log in again, then paste it..not an effective way i know..but better than writing it back all over again

Chris the admin perhaps has a solution for this./

I have had this problem on a few occasions too, which is why, before submitting a long entry, I copy the message in case I have to re-log in and paste. Good luck!

Its gotta be a cookie issue, make sure you have cookies turned on and have selected to use cookies in your user control panel.

I'll try to do some of the things you guys have suggested so far (cybercoffee and all that). Admin, I can't seem to find any cookie-related option in the CP. Could you point me in the right direction?

IT must have been previous software versions that had the cookie option in the profile (now it must just be required).

Yes. I don't have internet access on my house, so I go to one of those places where you can surf the net with broadband. The name is probably a misonomer, as they normally don't serve coffee. I mentioned it because altering the setting of the internet explorer isn't gonna do much good, since I use a different computer everytime.

I'll go with the copy before posting method then. Thanks everyone.
