Hm, I am just a wonderer who hopes to find others as I- nothing less. AT least here, I can express who I am- in the real world, I am mocked. haha, Mocking encourages me, yet some real encouragement would truly do better. I also enjoy encouraging others and help them become better at what they love- to write and read!
In this seemingly never ending end of what we call- life, I live.

I live in regrets and they make me who I am. But without regrets- I would not know, what I know today.

He who dwells much on his past, he will miss the present- which then in consequence- will cause him to ruin his future.

    peace upon u all

hey everybody its my first time to join a forum that only concerns about literature, im sure i will learn too much from all of you and widen my experiences.

Im a pharmacy school student in my second year im 20 years old and also i work as a graphics designer for a private company and have a small project with some friends and i love writing and reading poems and short stories.

My native language is Arabic and i like to translate my ideas and poems into English and vice versa it really expand my language skills and i like that way.

My favorite poet is William Butler Yeats i adore him so much and also im a rock music fan (very big one) and i like the writings of Sir Henry Rider hagard. and in Arabic Literature i like Wagih Aziz the poet and musician and also Ali salama the Egyptian poet also Marwan Khory the Lebanese poet and musician.and the best and the oldest Abi Feras El-Hamadany.

OOOOOOOOOps i forget to tell that im from Egypt (a good plant of this good soil ) living in Cairo the capital.

There is still much to be told about myself and you can know about when u read my writings.
I wish u all good and peace be upon u.
But I, being poor, have only my dreams. I have spread my dreams under your feet. Tread softly because you tread on my dreams. (W.B.Yeats)

Am I to assume, from your name, that you are a fellow Tolkien fan?

nope, peter rabbit is about the most you'll get out of this website

No question that people like you joining this forum will make it the place to go for bibliophiles.

    Smile Hi to everybody

I am new to this network and I was happy when I found this place on the internet where people fond of books and reading just like myself can meet and know each other. My name is Mounir, I am a 50 ys old male working and living in Alexandria, Egypt. I am a psychiatrist and I am fond of reading and knowing about all the world cultures, literature, history, mythology, history of ideas and philosophy. I am also naturally interested in books about psychology, psychiatry and psychotherapy. I am also fond of classical music whether oriental or western, long walks, cats, and a bit of cooking !

At present I am reading again all the works of Naguib Mahfouz, last week I finished "A begining and an end", one of his earliest novels. Last year and this year I also read some works by Henrik Ibsen, I especially liked "The Wild Duck" and "Doll's House". At the same time I am reading several collections of short stories: works by Maupassant, "Exemplary Tales" by Cervantes, and a collection by the Russian writer, actor and cinema director Vasily Shukshin.

    Best wishes to everybody
