It is really hard to describe a flavor like that as it doesn't resemble anything else. Sometimes you can get away with it by making comparisions, but that doesn't really work with rootbeer or even sarsparilla.

Would you like me to mail you a can, Niamh?

Erg? Sarsparilla isn't an alcoholic beverage. There will be no giving of the eagle eye on my watch!

Oh Sangria! I looooove virgin sangria.
We'll need some nachos and salsa with it though...

    This is sangria!

Sangría is a wine punch which originated in Spain and Portugal. The word sangría comes from the Spanish sangre meaning blood. It typically consists of

    red wine,
    chopped or sliced fruit,
a sweetener such as honey or orange juice,
a small amount of added brandy, triple sec, or other spirits.
    lemonade or another soft drink
Because of the variation in recipes, sangría's strength can vary greatly.

I had sangria in a Mexican restaurant a while back and they had put taquella in it! Very strong! But very nice!

Good afternoon ladies. Do you still have any cookies going spare? I've been away and my attempts to keep up with your conversations over some of that time proved difficult, so in the end I gave up and got back to working. But now I find myself with little to do and thought it would be rude to be passing and not pop in for a visit.

Hey Bluebiird. *rummages around for snacks*

We have cookies plus a few other things...Taste great, 0 calories, since some of us expressed a concern.

And thanks for the congrats, all.

Pie sounds great. Can anyone do a nice pumpkin??

I love sangria! It's so good. Everytime me and my friends go out for dinner, we always drink sangria.
