I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.
Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice
Now for the reveal, which I hope doesn't ruin my reputation.
#1 is true, I will PM people to ask if a post is OK with them before I post it or offer to take it down if it is offensive because I am hypersensitive to other's feelings.
#2 is also true. I am still working on that arachnophobia. This isn't jungle country, but we do have several spiders you can hear walk across dry leaves. Some are large enough to catch small fish to eat. Then also, the hard-shelled ones creep me out worse than the hairy ones for some reason. I can hold a tarantula but don't put a large garden spider on me! And Nursery Spiders! Yeow!
So #3 is the lie. I do consider anger a waste of time, but I blow my stack too easily, and can get rather grouchy and miffed at small things others would just let slide. I'm working on it as well. Sorry!![]()

Oh my! You fooled quite the lot of us Pen!

I was so sure of my guess, I think I read in that thread that you had arachnophobia.....
You dont seem to be a person who will lose their temper easily.
Yeah, I know Maddie. But y'all don't see me in person, just on line. I started to quit the LitNet once, as some may recall, because I had become fed up with some peoples remarks. I would never tell the Moderators who, and I still wouldn't, I would have left and that would have been it. There was a MAJOR protest over that decision to leave, and so I changed my mind. I still become upset from time to time and can be grouchy. At home I withdraw into myself at times, over really nothing. So yes, I get angry easily. I mentioned the arachnophobia in a thread, asking if one would hold a large spider to try to confront the fear. (Which I did, and continue to do.) But the big hard shell spiders I still don't want on me! Eew!![]()

hmmmm....I understand
Hey, but dont ever leave litnet, I for one dont want you to do that. Whenever I login, I always wish to see a few people around, you are one of these people.
Good luck with your phobia.I was watching this program on spiders on NGE the other day, and it was really scary to see big hairy spiders crawling on that guy's face.....
I will go for another
1) I have no musical ability
2) I have no team sport ability
3) I have no science ability

Drama has admitted a crush on me, and assuming that like attracts like, I will say 2).

Para qué vivir
With Drama's stated lack of love for uniforms, I'll say 2 as well. A poet usually has musical ability. And she's too good at debating to have no science ability.![]()

You don't let it show, Uncle Pen. As you said, you are sensitive to others' feelings. I am too, but I don't know quite how to pace myself when charged with debatable issues. I don't know how to control the anger put to my words. So I just stay away from questions that I know I'll immerse myself in a puddle of mud.
"You have enemies? Good. That means you’ve stood up for something, sometime in your life."
To go wrong in one's own way is better than to go right in someone else's" - Dostoevksy
I'll go with 2, Drame.
*sigh* I dislike sheepishness, but I will go for 2 also.
(Maybe I even hope you have no team sport ability - me neither. Unless the team is an orchestra and the sport is music.)
After silence, that which comes closest to expressing the inexpressible is music.

Love, love, love, that is the soul of genius.

1. I like traveling
2. I am a mad blogger
3. I spend a good deal of my money on hair products

I'm thinking #1 because I'm thinking that somewhere you mentioned a fear of flying... I could always be wrong, nothing exactly new...![]()
