Have you watched the movie...it may help to illustrat the story for you, also I would suggest the Japanese Addaptation by Akira Kurosawa titled: Throne of Blood ( or cobweb castle in the US), if you prefer samurai movies!
Also, I would start with what the witches tell macbeth, and how his attitude changes when he speaks to his wife on the matter.
