well the penguin becuase its both a land and water creature.... the rabbit would get its fur wet and sink....

Tux that's great but I'm for the rabbit because the penguin an't fight on land which would be the case because rabbits swim enough to survive a few strike from it.

rabbits are fast on land. and they 'rabbit-punch' (short backswing, fast powerful stubby jab), and tend to circle to outwit their pursuers, which would quickly bring them back behind the penguin who would not expect a smack to the back of the head after being rabbit-punched in the face.....
As if the answer was ever in question.
