Although I don't have one, I have this irrational fear of accidently swallowing the stud for tongue piercings. I mean, what if you're eating a good BLT for lunch one day and... gulp! There goes $10 of wasted (now partially digested metal.) And besides, to tell you the truth, they gross me out. Why would someone want to take out their some of their taste buds for a probable attraction for infection/hole? Yuck...
