Thats a very good idea, to go to a forum of a forieng language to improve your use of that language.

What is your first language, and does anyone know where i can find a spanish liturature forum?

Welcome, Mooring! There are a lot of other people here for the same reason. Make yourself at home! I look forward to talking with you.

Seeker, you can go here. It's a nice site, and you can also download books in spanish if you have the Acrobat E-book Reader, which I believe you can also download at that site.

I keep telling myself that I should find a forum for every language I know, to practise... But I'm so hooked to the English ones, cos by now I'm so fluent that it's natural, while in the other languages it takes me ages to form a sentence...
Btw, I joined lots of English forums/chats not really with the purpose of practising, just because I happened to like them while I've never managed to really get into the Italian ones... (too many silly people around, at least in chatrooms)

I find it almost impossible to keep up activities in several forums at the same time, specially if there's more than one related to literature. After a while, and when dealing with certain topics, I find that I tend to repeat myself over and over, which is somewhat frustrating. Besides, most of the times it takes a while to get accustomed to a particular forum. I like this one best.

I know what you mean. but my problem is also fact that sometimes I do not know how to express myself. I mean, I feel the book and its meaning and then suddenly, baf and I am out of words... horrible... guess I needs more practising or something...

btw hello to the new person... welcome

hello and welcome to the new one. personally, i think that is a great idea, to join a forum in the lanugage you are trying to learn. in fact, if you dont mind, i may borrow that idea, as i am trying to learn french and think that may help immensely.
really hope you enjoy your time here; i sure do.

But I am in forums of quite different topics I have periods when I'm more active in some and less in others...This one has been taking over most of the time It's true that it needs time to get accustomed, infact in the old old times this one wasn't one of my favourites cos the atmosphere was less friendly, most users weren't regulars etc... (then came Abdo...)

VBM, I higly recommend again the practice of the forums... Look at my English, I'm sometimes ashamed about how good it is...(far from perfect I know, I don't want to sound pretentious...!!!). I really wish I had the patience to do that in other languages, but looking words up is so hard for the queen of laziness...

VB, I've been thinking of doing that for a while, but I don't know how to go about finding one. If you find a French vBulletin forum where there's no fighting, let me know, okay? I'll let you know, too. It would be cool to have you on trying to learn too. (I've thought about it for years, but was afraid I'd annoy the people. Now, from being here, I know they wouldn't mind. Yay!)
