    Hi everyone --

    children's happy eyes
    glint bright after dull blue,
    smiles after sorrow
My hide hides the heart inside

    smiles after sorrow
is how it should always be
    unless you're emo.

    Hi Adol!

    Unless you're emo
    you face life's constant challenge
    eager to go on...

**whispers: "dang that was difficult" **
Our task must be to free ourselves by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty

    eager to go on,

from Matt the Man's haiku, because i took a long time to compose and probably should have refreshed/checked the page before posting:

    with my small puppy
i run gaily through the house
    and enjoy long naps

    from the latest:

    are never too much
red ants for soup, dessert, tea.
    they make lovely shakes
    shh!!!
the air and water have been here a long time, and they are telling stories.

    They make lovely shakes;
    These far exaggerated
    Excuses for men

    Excuses for men
sometimes square pegs in round holes
    love them anyhow
Our task must be to free ourselves by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty

    Love them anyhow
    Those fair dancing Illusions
    That one cannot grasp

    That one cannot grasp
    Such an obvious notion
    Like breathing in-sync

    Exclamation

    Like breathing in-sync—
    Snoring horrendous noises—
    Like sawmill rush hour

    Like sawmill rush hour,
    With tremendous rush orders—
    Saws all on high speed

    Saws all on high speed,
Snores shake even the high rafters—
    Stir up sleeping bats

    Stir up sleeping bats—
    Der Fledermaus comes diving—
    Guided by the sound

    Guided by the sound,
    Little brown bomber attacks
    Sleeper in for shock!

    Some of us laugh
    Some of us cry
    Some of us smoke
    Some of us lie
But it's all just the way
that we cope with our lives...

    Quick in a hurry
    lest my fainting heart succumb
    behold the blackness
Our task must be to free ourselves by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty

    behold the blackness,
    in bright orange, flowing dusk,
    silhouetting light--

    when morning stars speckle white
    spreading forth a day--

    when evil loses a face,
    and good-will shines so bright,

when lies are gone, pure goodness
    lingers day and night
My hide hides the heart inside

    lingers day and night,
    smoke mist from crushed cigarrettes;
    stale unsettling woe.
