    My current avatar has a weird story to it. I wanted to make a custom shield for one of the games I play, so I took a plain celtic knot, tinted it and texturized it. It has a granite texture look to it but it really needs to be bigger in order for that to show up. Sadly, the image to use as a shield has to be 32x32 pixels and the knot looked really crummy when I made it that small. But, I think it looks pretty good as an avatar.

    I do really like that avatar. Didnt you have something similar before? But more knots and it was black and white? I really liked that one too.

    I don't think I would recognize any of Pensy's posts if her avatar was changed. That little blue bird is just you, somehow.

    Niamh, yes, you have a good memory. I did have something similiar although you are correct, it was in black and white. It was also raised like a button. I hope nobody gets attached to my avy's the way we are to Pensive's. I like to change mine around too much.
