let's take cold showers for a couple of weeks and see who lasts longest. You can use some hot water to wash your hair, but appart from that you're only allowed to take cold showers (no, you can not have a hot bath, either!).

    1 week= lukewarm lurker
    2 weeks= snowflake in June
    3 weeks= slush (= the litnet guys )
    4 weeks= icicle
5 weeks (+) = polar bear cubs (= Sleepy and the girls!!!! )

girls back me up!!! (Scher, drama, I'm sure it saves energy and helps protect the environment, not to mention the health benefits)
    start tommorrow, Jan 12?
    Anyway rules:
You dont have to join in but everyones welcome, and you dont need to do every challenge.
If you want to sgest a challenge do so by the 5th of the month so we have time to think aboput it and start on the 12th.
A challenge doesnt automaticall end when we start a new one we just stop focusing on it.
    No dangerous or risky challeneges
but most importantly of all, anyone who suggests diet or any other form of wieght loss scheme barrig a little excersice, will be fed to flesh eating smilies

Too easy! I only take cold showers as it is! How can you wake up in the morning without an icey cold shower .

Boy this will be interesting. Seems like everyone is trying to be manly around here. What ever happened to the supposed feminization of our culture? All I can tell you when it comes to cold showers and hot chili pepers I'm a wimp. I used to go to a mexican restaurant that was frequented by U.S. Marines (soldiers) and on the wall were records of crazy amounts of peppers eaten. I don't remember exact numbers, but something like Private So-and-So ate 50 jalepenos in a minute on this date. Now he may have been a manly man but I bet he didn't have a stomach either.

Seems like a fun thread, Night.

Im not so good with chilipeppers although chili powder I do like in extreme moderation.
I guess Id have to opt out if we chose that one as I cant have the milk afterwards, although come to think of it surley the curry mile is the best place to learn??

I bet he didn't have much of a brain either to undertake something like that... I prefer a "softer" challenge myself. So much for me being manly... So what are we going to do? Cold showers are out for me...

    how about this:

at least once every two days, go up and either say hi to or help out a total stranger.

that wouldn't work for me, mir. I am always bothering people (strangers or otherwise) with my help, whether or not they want it.

I propose when we are next out with a loved one, we stop whatever we are doing and yell "I love you!" at them, thus reminding them of our feelings and also embarrasing the heck out them.
