    Talking Hello!

    HELLO ALL !!
    Newbie here!

I live in Boston, Massachusetts, USA I love to read and hoping to connect to others! I have read Ulysses ( and other Joyce books)several times and love the book! I have not tried Finn's Wake yet, but I will probably do so sometime!

I have travelled extensively through the years, including living in Dublin, Ireland and part time in Sweden. I am an Interior Designer, an artist and an international writer ( non fiction magazine articles on design and architecture ). I love the sea, sailing, gardening, travel and cats. See my homepage to get more of a feel about me!

I can read anything, anywhere and anytime... I like the classics, modern lit, British and Irish lit, funky contemporary novels, biography, non fiction, and most things....I am hoping to open my mind up to more classics ( I have a few under my belt) and beable to banter about them with like minded people!

Welcome DK! You seem like a really interesting and worldy person! Hope you have a good time here!
I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.

Sometimes it seems like living in Massachusetts makes one into a masochist, doesn't it?!

Welcome! I hope you enjoy it here.
