Playing Haiku all alone - where is everyone tonight. Well, I got on a roll and wrote a bunch! Playing Haiku solitare, I guess.

    hollyhocks perform
    their measureless minuet
    dancing in silence
    Voices mysterious far and near,
Sound of the wind and sound of the sea,
Are calling and whispering in my ear,
    Whifflingpin! Why stayest thou here?

Good morning/evening beautiful Miss Janine! I'll spoil you rotten, I won't stop, don't worry.. Though Santa M loves girls with long hair, this long-haired girl is not taking advantage of it. We're better off for now as friends.
Can we not talk about him now? It just makes my heart beat thrice as fast...not healthy anymore..

    The guy dips the girl...
    Uncomfortable silence,
    Then their lips will meet...
May curiousity kill me, and may satisfaction bring me back.

I seem to have finally found my way back to heaven online, formally known as you all. I've missed you all so much....

    Part...and meet again.

    Part...and meet again.
    Only eyes still familiar
    Bottled expression
I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.

    stuck 'till rigorously slapped
    mutely floods the page.

I got to say, the last month or two we have gathered together the best haiku "players" since I've been on lit net.

    The Bourbon Street times
    are filled with carnival jerks.
    Dixieland music.

What a nice compliment Virgil...gee am I included? I just got started with Haiku. I used to read a lot of it when I was younger....maybe some of it stuck!

    Here's my Haiku ~

    Dixieland music
Jazz bars swirl with dancing smoke
    New Orleans alive!
