No, I'm not from England. Quite the opposite. I live in Southern California, U.S.A., but right now if I took a picture of the sky here you think it was England. (But I love overcast weather, so it's nice.) I do so want to go to England very badly, though.

BTW-I like Lily of the Valley, too. Yardley products are my favorite when it comes to perfumes and all that.

I would love some cool rain over here! It's 100 farenheit today and very, very dry. Consider yourselves lucky
I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.

In the pic you posted your face looks just fine, mir. I suppose most of us find a few things we don't like about our appearance. My jaw is really square looking to me... FYI changing the appearance of your face shape is possible via contouring but it needs an especially light touch to make it look natural and is better at night time anyway. (guess who used to be a makeup artist a long time ago?)

Real essential oils are nice perfumes as well and are natural. Lavendar, Bergamot, Rosemary even Patchouli can all be nice if diluted.

DKNY makes a perfume called Be Delicious and it comes in an apple shaped bottle also. There are two varieties and one is a green apple (Be Delicious) and one is a red apple (Red Delicious) and the scents are a little different. Everytime I go to the dept store I like to sample it (unless I go to one in the bad part of town where they don't put the testers out because shoplifters steal them). The green one smells good though I've never actually purchased a bottle (I would if I could! --- right now I've got Curve and I'm not getting anything else until I use it up. Supposedly you've got about a year to use up your perfume before it starts to go bad.....)

Do perfumes go bad?? I have this one from Michael Kors, and its been more than 5yrs that I have had it with me. I dont use it so much, as it is a gift from my brother, I like keeping gifts as long as I can. But, whenever I do, it still smells nice. I dont know why I cant buy such expensive perfumes for myself, I have bought such perfumes as gifts for others though, but, whenever I think of getting one for myself, I end up buying a simple deo....

Honestly, I don't know. I read that in some magazine a long time ago but it could just be one of those things that they say to sell perfume. The shelf life of a perfume may actually be longer than a year, but I imagine that they do go bad at some point just because nothing lasts forever, you know?
