Our worries and fears
Cast dim by the neon lights
Our love will prove strong

Dreams! adorations! illuminations! religions!
the whole boatload of sensitive!
— Allen Ginsberg, Howl II.
Our love will prove strong
We can defeat anything
As long as we love
And for the record, you can scry with many different things. Glass, mirrors, water, wind, just about anything...
May curiousity kill me, and may satisfaction bring me back.
I seem to have finally found my way back to heaven online, formally known as you all. I've missed you all so much....
as long as we love
worlds will continue to turn,
step into the game

"It's so mysterious, the land of tears."
Chapter 7, The Little Prince ~ Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
opps meant to write my haiku
Step into the game
Precarious it might be
But worth the effort
"It's so mysterious, the land of tears."

but worth the effort,
(well) it was, said Yoda to
his young disciple.
his young disciple
homesick for his native land
sought a way back home

Well, as you may have noticed Virgil - I spelled "scry" wrong - think it was a typo - I had it "scy" left out the "r". I just looked in another dictionary of mine and it is not there - on to the bigger and newer one now.
Virgil it was awfully nice of you to PM thanking all for your birthday celebration. You are very gracious and appreciative.
Thanks for the links - also you are always so helpful. You should have been a teacher or prof. I think you missed your true calling.
Here's my haiku
Sought a way back home
Found his lost love waiting there
Left behind, with child
"It's so mysterious, the land of tears."

I have to check that poem out...wow. When is the deadline date? I had wanted to try writing one. Probably too late now. Thought you would be out celebrating your B-day or were you...if so how was it...good dinner or whatever? Nice Haiku for the season!
Here is mine~
Bright star leads the way
Galaxies in soulfull space
Bring forth a new year
"It's so mysterious, the land of tears."

Your haiku - so New York, Virgil! Just wrote you a PM about your poem. I loved it!
Midnight revelries
Faces painted, brightly glow
Excitement expands
"It's so mysterious, the land of tears."
Chapter 7, The Little Prince ~ Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
I love that last one Janine, the quality of your haikus leaves me in more and more awe every time!
Excitement expands
A thousand huddled sparrows
Soar beneath my gaze
I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.
Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice
Soar beneath my gaze
My little one, my sweetheart.
Spring means separation.
