I made another. Necessity is the mother of invention...

And I prefer actual combat. Prepared to be my new sparring partner?

In the words of Green Arrow: "That'd be nice, too."

    So, pretty bird, you ready?

'Twas a reference to Black Canary. Never heard just plain "bird" used before.

It's true Nightshade. Put the pin down. It's one of Robin's far too copious nicknames for me, and there was nothing derogatory about it.

Deal, Robin. You're on. But beware, I might break you...

50's sexism verses comicbook sweetheart, gotta love words
I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.

bird is also british slang for girl. It's actually much better than all the other slang words, like chick etc. which are so overused it isn't funny anymore.

It is often used along these lines:

    "Wow, look at those birds."

Also used when bird spotting. which is a different sport altogether from what you might think.

Not that it bothers me. In the summer, I love to sit down, get a drink and do some bird spotting. Nothing derogatory about that. I don't yell at the birds, that'll only scare them away.

Yes, and I face sexism head on! Deal with it, boys!

And yes, please don't yell at me. I won't get scared away, but the end result won't be pretty...

I get alot of 'Sister's as well becuase I cover my head and I always have to bite back the retort I AM not your sister I dont even know you.

    ~sings song, "I'm A Girl Watcher"...~

It seems rather insulting in a variety of ways to call a woman "broad."

Yep the flowers are the girls. See Night, that is why the hugo boss for women smells like flowers. It's all based on nature.
