That's only because you have no idea how many dolls I made for friends on another site. I think Reisa has had a good look at the number of dolls I've done for this site and the other and even she hasn't seen the dolls I did for other family and friends...believe me, I've wasted enough hours on that site to be considered addicted...not that that's anything to be proud of.

No no, Idril. I was including you in the shared addiction. Sometimes I make them just to make them, not even for anybody else. Meh, it's harmless fun.

Oooooohhhhhh... I'm really not very bright sometimes.

My niece was over the other day and the two of us had a blast making those dolls together but we definitely have different styles...I have to look through every single option before I make my decision and she would look at a couple items and pick something. I would keep asking her, "Are you sure you don't want to look at some more before you decide?" I finally just had to walk away and let her make her own dolls.

Sheesh, how could she do that? I have to make sure all the stuff matches or is color coordinated before I choose. I think I pick out 3 or 4 outfits before deciding on the one I like best. This doll making is a complicated business!

toni dear, no need to apologize. I had lots of fun choosing "your" outfit.

Ah, no problem. I make them a lot when I'm feeling a bit low. I have a list of names I haven't got around to as of yet. It'll happen, it'll happen!

    I missed this thread!
I use both the candybar dollmaker (the link in the beginning of the thread) and another called Dollwizard. Candybar is good because there is a lot of variety of hair and clothing options, plus backgrounds. Dollwizard is good because there is more variety in choosing skin tones, ect. The pain in the neck part is that Dollwizard's saving options are broken, so every one that I make has to be saved via me taking a screenshot and then pasting it into the paint program. Some examples....

Here is one of you, Night.

It is currently on the back burner. I am nearly three chapters into a story starring my Paranormal Investigator, Dr. Mortimer Graves. And I have had four Shadow stories go on site within the last month. So I'm re-stocking my outlines for more stories. I have a new character and a new story finished, but-- I may save it. Next year's competition will roll around before you know it! Check out the story at the bottom of this post.

I decided to redo a couple. I was looking through my old dolls and realized the one I did of Sub looks disturbingly like Michael Jackson and that won't do so here's a better one:

And since my Cookie (so much easier to spell than...Schokokeks )doll had short hair, I did another one:

    And one new one, Higley:

*edit* Oops, forgot to post the one I made of optimisticnad.
O my gosh! i wasnt aware at all someone made me a doll! its completely gorgeous, thank you so much!!!

yay! i made us toni, two lovely alien sisters! with a shakespearian touch, of course

i made one of Virgil with Brandi. if only this site could accurately depict such a beautiful pair.

I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.

Oh thank you drama. My work computer blocks most imported images for some reason, so I can't see it now. When I get home I will check it out.
