Oh I'm sorry, Uncle Pen, I didn't read the bit on your cat, I'm so sorry !
Car are so nasty things, I'm so glad I never need to drive one...
But this must be very hard for you, especially if your cat had been with you for so long. Keep your chin up, nevertheless, will you ?

Thank you Cookie, Toni, Virgil, and Kathy. At least he didn't suffer. He was very old and I knew the day was coming when he wouldn't come home. But it always hurts.

    Memoriam

You cannot pick the rose, my friend,
If you fear to be scratched by the thorn.
And without death, there would be no life,
No moment when it is said "A child is born."
The scales must weigh in perfect balance,
We may not tip them as we will.
Life is a challenge and a gamble,
We run our race, so let it be remembered when we are stilled.
The sands of time are set against us all,
From the moment of our very birth.
Here upon this multicolored spinning spatial ball
This planet that we call Earth.
But I'll raise a glass and toast the shade of my cat:
When it came to love and companionship, they don't make many like that...

I am very sorry to hear about your cat, dear Uncle Pen..
Cats are such lovely and adorable creatures.
Although I have yet to own one..
I sure know how it feels like to lose a pet...
    My deepest sympathies..
that was a lovely poem you just made, Uncle Pen, I am sure your cat will be happy to be remembered, wherever he is now..

Oh man! I haven't made any of these for ages, I had almost gotten over my addiction and then you had to go and bring it up all over again.

    Here's Ozeed, the ladies man.

feet lovely and still as sleeping doves,
porcelain bones strong enough to carry a life,
    but weighty and unmovable
    As black Dakota hills.

    Well, you should be.

And he is dashing, isn't he? The hat wasn't my first choice but I couldn't find hair I was really happy with but once I settled on the hat, I decided I could work with it, he does know the difference between Armani and Gucci so you know he knows how to dress and girls love a sharp dressed man.

Um, I guess you did not look here either. Gosh, do you think either I or Pen would pass up a chance to depict such fine folks as you and your sis? (besides Idril, I think Pen and I were the most addicted doll makers... )
