Even though it was usually cold and wet and my feet hurt at the end it was always worth it. Besides, I didn't get too wet, because I had a big, cheap plastic witches hat and a home made costume from wheelie bin bags, so I was actually rather dry and toasty, but my friends didn't have such warm, dry costumes. They got absolutely soaked . I always gathered a good hoard that lasted me to Christmas and beyond . I'll never forget when we got a big bag of salty popcorn and ate it just under a month later, watching the fireworks from peoples gardens.
Well, now I'm the one giving out the sweets. HAHAHAHA!!!!! What's great about it is that we usually only get one or two groups of kiddies, so there's plenty of sweets left for me .
I can't wait for tonight. My little trick is all ready, and it looks great. We've also got the best decorations in the street. Actually, we've got the only decorations in the street. But, they're still the best .

I'm not the only one excited about Halloween am I?

    I can't be.

Well, I still think it looks like someone's intestines. The picture is out of focus. And OPT, (thanks for the honorary gal vote!) who knows if Hannibal Lecter cooked his stuff or not? As I recall he said "I ate his liver with some fauve beans..." Sounds like he was a bit of a gourmet

I'm sure in one of the films he cut out pieces of a guy's brain, while he was still alive, and fried them. It wasn't Silence of the Lambs, it was another one, but I can't remember the title of it.
Actually, that's what the picture made me think of. I thought it was a boiled brain, until I read it.

I may now never eat again.....

BTW that movie was Hannibal. Red Dragon, Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal are all novels by Thomas Harris that had film adaptations done of them.

Red Dragon! I knew that was one of them. My mother wouldn't believe me when I told her there were three, and that was ont of them. She thought it was a completely different film. Now I can prove it. And thanks for the info on the films. I think I might have a look around for them.

Oh, and sorry if what I said made anyone feel a bit ill, but hey, at least I didn't post a picture That would've been really sick
