Goodness Ladies, didn't know we were all taking over the guys' thread?! Well, I am going to be in and out a lot because my internet is down at home so the only chance I get to have coffee with you gals is when I am at work (uh oh).

Optimistic, your humor still remains though your health is icky. Get better soon. You've been sick awhile.

    Great soups going around too!

The guy you all posted on the thread is a little too pretty for me. I tend to like mine a little more rugged looking!

exactly. i like my men a little more rugged looking, mind you not as rugged as k.exile. *wnks at k.exile (who, on seeing this, drops on the floor))*

my sense of humour has a brain of its own, its never off. which is bad when ur trying to be serious or get some work done.

    Foodstuff!

Being the ultranosy person that I am, I actually googled for "disgusting food" and found the exact same pic that optimistic posted. The person whose blog it is from says it is Yakitori, a Japanese dish. Looking at it made me want to "yak" alright....
Yakitori is grilled chicken speared on sticks. All different parts of the chicken, thighs, skin, liver, etc. can be used for yakitori. The following recipe shows one of the most popular kind which is prepared with chicken thighs and leek.
I also found this....it looks pretty nasty as well:
