    Woman Work
I've got the children to tend
    The cloths to mend
    The floor to mop
    The food to shop
    Then the chicken to fry
    The baby to dry
    I got company to feed
    The garden to weed
I've got the shirts to press
    The tots to dress
    The cane to be cut
I gotta clean up this hut
    Then see about the sick
    And the cotton to pick.

    Shine on me ,sunshine
    Rain on me,rain
    Fall softly ,dewdrops
    And cool my brow again.

    Storm,blow me from here
    With your fiercest wind
Let me float across the sky
    'till I can rest again.

    Fall gently,snowflakes
    Cover me with white
    Cold icy kisses and
    Let me rest tonight.

    Sun,rain,curving sky
    Mountain,oceans,leaf and stone
    Star shine,moon glow
You're all that I can call my own.

How about this ,girls? The first stanza is just amazing ,Gracy,hw r ya?how is your guy?

miss tenderness your last phrase was entirely confusing!
"So heaven meets earth like a sloppy wet kiss, and my heart turns violently inside of my chest, I don't have time to maintain these regrets, when I think about, the way....He loves us..."

    Why?!

    Gracy dude,hw r ya?how is your guy?
There are two people who posted under this thread recently who people refer to as Grace, Gracie, Gracy...what have you...and you said Gracy dude...how is your guy? And I'm thinking at first you referred to ShoutGrace, but then I hope he doesn't have a guy so I am assuming you are talking to me but I'm not a dude!

    Exclamation

Now you know a coffee shop has to have poetry! I'm not complaining, mind, but weren't some of you quite vocal in saying the guys could not exclude ladies from their club? Did it occur to you that guys like coffee, cookies, and chats as well? Will you also serve tea? Earl Grey, perhaps, or Darjeeling? Humm?

Could someone pass me the cookie tray? I hope you don't mind my lateness, I wanted to bring some hot coco for myself and any other coco lovers out there, and the line at the store was long...
