That's just crazy! Blasphemy! My world has been shattered.

Cuppajoe, I'm going to guess the first one is the lie, you may have the bet, but I'm thinking it might be for something other than an Alabama Slammer...by the way, is that anything like an Amaretto Slammer?

Nope, you're wrong. The bet was indeed for an Alabama Slammer, which is consists of Southern Comfort, Amaretto, orange juice, Sprite and grenadine. The lie was the scholarship, which was actually worth $50 000, so it looks like I'm going to be out an Alabama Slammer.

Since nobody got it, I get to go again, right?

    1. I am deathly afraid of large dogs, particularly German Shepherds.

    2. I got 100% on my diploma exam for English.

    3. I once ran around shirtless on top of the Saskatchewan Glacier.

Nope, I really am terrified of dogs. And I really am quite bored.

I think i'll go for 2, English is a not like math, logical, where 2+2 is always equal to 4, and if you are correct you get 100%. I think no matter how well you have written your English exam, one can never get 100%, there is always scope of improvement.

I don't know exactly how I did it, but I did in fact get a 100% on my english diploma. The last one is false. It was the Athabasca Glacier.

In the interest of keeping this thread going, I'll take a turn and this should be easy if people are paying attention.

    1. I'm very calorie conscious and like to eat healthy foods.

    2. I have a dimple on my cheek that's actually a scar.

    3. I'm obsessed with pajamas, I have 3 huge boxes of them in my closest along with 2 dresser drawers filled with as many seasonally appropriate jamies I can fit in there.

    # 3 has got to be the lie.

I think I've read about Idril drinking cokes and eating m&m's and such, so I'll stay away from that one . . .

I very much hope that number three is the lie.

The second one seems a lie to me.

I'm going with number 3. The reason being that the first two were dashed off without thinking while the third was carefully crafted.

Pen, it was carefully crafted because it's something I feel very strongly about...I love pajamas! So that one is most definitely true, in fact, just this last weekend, I put my summer jammies away and got the fall and winter ones out and I had to make some tough choices because I only had room in my 2 drawers for about half of the ones I had. And there is a seriously adorable pair I saw in the mall the other day that I think I'm going to have to pick up so that means I'm going to have to stick another pair back in the box because those drawers are stuffed! I think I may have a problem.

The second one is true, I fell face first onto the roots of a tree (it was out of the ground and being used as a see-saw at the time), when I was about 5 or 6 causing a nice little dent in my cheek that is very unflattering.

So the lie is the first one, Madhuri had it right, I am calorie conscious in the way that I am at least aware of the ridiculous amount of calories I put in my mouth and sometimes, I feel a little guilty about it, but it doesn't stop me from eating what I want to eat...which is generally speaking, not healthy foods.

    So, Mad, it's your turn.

A classic case of reading the clue right, but taking it in the wrong direction! Ah, I must hone my detective skills! Touche, Idril!
