But isnt your conciounsonus one and the same with your memory? and isnt that in fact but traces( chemical or electrical depending on your particular theoretical leaning) on the surface of te brain? So then is not the very deterioatin just a physical way of seeing your 'mind' as it were?

Are we perhaps delving too far into an altogether incomprehensible field? Is there any feasible chance of getting any of us our much needed brain upgrades?

Well havent recent developments shown that brain cells ( or rather stem cells) can in fact be regenerated using silicone?

Silicone regenerating stem and brain cells?? I thought silicone regenerated other more useful, beneficial (not to mention crucial to society) things?

Isn't it evident that many consider appearance to be more important than intellect?

Lack of sleep, too much sleep, brain upgrades, brain downloads, silicone additives and intelligent ponderings, are indeed perplexing issues, but in all of our considerations, DO WE HAVE PASSION IN LIFE?

    Exclamation

Passion, as defined in what way? I was simply looking for a brain that was only slightly used, being over the hill and somewhat forgetful these days, but you put in an advertisement and get a discussion you know?
    Some of us laugh
    Some of us cry
    Some of us smoke
    Some of us lie
But it's all just the way
that we cope with our lives...

Arent we trying to find a suitable solution to your problem? Why dont you give us more choices?

Perhaps we should begin to question the source of the problem? Does anybody really believe that Pendragon needs a new brain?

Well, Pendragon might well need a BRAIN MAKE-OVER, I don't know... At this moment in time, I am questioning the spaciness of my own brain. God I am tired. I need MORE SLEEP... (confessions of an insomniac...sigh)

... but back to passion... You know it was the one question the Greeks asked when a man died. "Did he have passion?" An interesting concept, eh?

    The Scarecrow Sang About It...and

    WE'RE STILL SHOUTIN' IT!

    If I Only Had ...

    ... a Brain

I could while away the hours
    Conferrin' with the flowers
    Consultin' with the rain
And my head, I'd be scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain.

    I'd unravel ev'ry riddle
    For any individ'le
    In trouble or in pain

With the thoughts you'd be thinkin'
    You could be another Lincoln,
If you only had a brain.

Oh, I could tell you why
    The ocean's near the shore,
I could think of things I never thunk before
And then I'd sit and think some more.

I would not be just a nuffin'
My head all full of stuffin'
My heart all full of pain.
I would dance and be merry
    Life would be a ding-a-derry
    If I only had a brain--Whoa!

    ... a

When a man's an empty kettle
He should be on his mettle
    And yet I'm torn apart
    Just because I'm presumin'
That I could be kind-a human
If I only had a heart.

I'd be tender, I'd be gentle
    And awful sentimental
    Regarding love and art
I'd be friends with the sparrows
And the boy who shoots the arrows,
If I only had a heart.

    Picture me ... a balcony ...
    Above a voice sings low--

    Wherefore art thou, Romeo?

    I hear a beat.
    How sweet!
    Just to register emotion.
    "Jealousy," "devotion"
    And really feel the part
I could stay young and chipper
And I'd lock it with a zipper
If I only had a heart.

    ... the Nerve

Yeah, it's sad, believe me missy,
When you're born to be a sissy,
    Without the vim and verve.
But I could show my prowess,
Be a lion not a mowess,
If I only had the nerve

    I'm afraid there's no denyin'
    I'm just a dandelion
    A fate I don't deserve.
    I'd be brave as a blizzard ...

TIN MAN: I'd be gentle as a lizard ...

SCARECROW: I'd be clever as a gizzard ...

DOROTHY: If the Wizard is a wizard who will serve.

SCARECROW: Then I'm sure to get a brain ...

    TIN MAN: ... a heart

    DOROTHY: a home

    LION: the nerve!
