The Elizabethan age occurred in the world in the 16th and 17th century. It is named for queen Elizabeth I , who was
known for her love of the arts. The Elizabethan age was one of the most fruitful era in literary history. Stronger political relationship with the continent were developed, increasing England exposure of the Renaissance culture.

The Elizabethan age was most influential through its drama. It showered the world with brilliant playwrights .Four of
the most well-known of them are Thomas Kyd, John Lyly, Robert Greene and Christopher Marlowe. Many people think that Marlowe was the greatest playwright in the early Elizabethan age. These playwrights are known as the University Wits. Shakespeare wrote in the middle of the Elizabethan age , he is the most famous writer in the era, maybe the best of all times.

Theatre was constructed in this age. There were two kinds of theatre indoors and outdoors theatre. Outdoors theatres were public theatre. Indoors theatre were private theatre. Theatres played a very important role in this age. Stage was the center of the theatre . it had several levels . the lowest level was used for several of things. Ghosts, graves and devil are few of them. The second level is the main stage. This is where the most important scene were. The third level is a balcony. It was used for number of things such as mountains and city walls. The fourth level was a series of pullys where angels, birds or thunderbolts could be sent to the main stage. The highest level was the musician room.

The Elizabethan actors were all male. The audience were always large and very excited. They would participate in the plays by cheering , hissing or even throwing rotten vegetables. There is one thing that would remain mystery. Vocabulary in the Elizabethan age were different than it is now. Modern historians are not sure of all the words meanings.

Your essay reads nicely. However, you might like to consider the following points:

- You have crammed a lot of information in a very short passage. You might like to expand a little more on all the information you provide so that it does not sound right out of an encyclopedia. Eg, you can give examples how the vocabulary was different in those days. Why is it considered the most fruitful period in the literary history and according to whom?

- There are some over-used words; you can find other words to replace these. Eg, instead of 'Elizabethan age', maybe you can say 'in those days', 'in that period' etc.

- I see you mostly prefer shorter sentences. However, at times combining sentences makes easier and smoother reading. Eg,

--'Outdoors theatres were public theatre. Indoors theatre were private theatre.'

'Outdoors theatres were public theatres whereas indoors theatres were private.'

--'The second level is the main stage. This is where the most important scene were.'

'The second level where the most important scenes took place was the main stage.'

- The last paragraph needs some revision because there are a few points thrown together in short sentences.

Over all, it might be a good idea to go over your punctuation and capital letters and use more transitional devices (connecting words).

It is a good draft and shows you have done a lot of research, which is always a good start! Keep up the hard work!
