Am I not a pirate? Have I any more consideration for wenches or squires that have been alive longer than I have than wenches or squires that haven't?

Can you believe, I find this language difficult to comprehend? Oh, when will this pirate language speaking day end? When will everyone come back to normal?

It is quite peculiar that speaking in piratical brouge should be so intoxicating, is it not?

Sorry, Maddie, but do you know that my character, Auld Arrow, speaks not only like a shipmate, but a Scottish man? Have you ever read Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson? Auld Arrow would be Mr. Arrow, the one the pirates killed and threw overboard long before they got to the island, understand? I turned him into a ghost during the ship wars, as The Ghost of The Dasdardly and liked the character, and tell you the truth, do you know it's almost as hard to write brogue as it is to understand it?

Why are we doing so many difficult things then? Why not make things simple?

Well, maybe we would start out simple and then get more complicated as the day wore on?

Why not keep everything as simple as possible? We do we need to incorporate complex situations?
