    Here's a site describing what it is, it's very, very good! I never add milk though, you can get Chai lattes which aren't bad but I prefer just plain old chai tea.

    Chai (Hindi for tea) and tea mean the same thing in India. Here it is made from water, tea leaves, milk and sugar.

    Madhuri and Idril, actually I asked what Chai means because I was kinda surprised that it's called in other langauages as in my native langauge. In Arabic the tea is called Chai. There are alot of words that are shared between Hindu lang an Arabic.

    In Urdu, Tea is called Chai too .
