This is Idril. They didn't have a lot of clothing choices appropriate for an elvish princess circa First Age so I'm stuck with this blue number...and there were no elvish ears so you'll just have to imagine they're there.



And Kathy, I think you should go another route for the party, be the mysterious, alluring woman in the corner holding a....duck?! Or is that a goose? Or a swan? I never was good at identifying fowl other than chickens.

I like the dress much better than the one I had, Pendragon, thank you and I hate to be picky ...but...Idril should have blonde hair, "...she was golden as the Vanyar, her mother's kindred...", although dark was a good guess, whether you knew it or not because she's Noldor on her father's side and they always have dark hair...except for Maedhros but that's a whole other story...anyway, now that you know more than you could ever want to know about elvish geneology, yes, Idril should be blonde...and barefoot but if she has to wear shoes, you picked a good color, her second name is Celebrindal which means 'silver foot' and those shoes almost look like they could be called silver so I think she may agree to wear those.

You know that picture actually looks like another elvish princess, Luthien, who is probably the top dog as far as elvish princesses go or I suppose you could even say it looks a little like Arwen since they were supposed to have a similar look.

And Schokokeks, I'm glad you liked the picture. That hair style is really cute, isn't it? I always love short hair on other people but never on me.

Yepp, same here. I once cut my hair awfully short and people kept telling me it was a great idea, but I didn't quite get used to it, and after my hair now is long again, I don't dare to cut it again
