I say the second one -- I suspect possibly more than six.

Okay, let me reveal the truth now

First one is true, I was born in Delhi and still live here.

Second one is a lie, I have never donated blood, the number part was just to confuse. I did visit the blood bank, but they refused saying I need to put on more weight and then come back.

Third one is also true, I have two brothers.

Madhuri, you have posted pictures of you with your brothers, so that was an obvious truth.

Two truths and a lie...or are they?

    1. I've shot a bow before.
    2. I'm ambidextrous.
    3. Exactly one of the above is true.

Let's play a game, shall we...?

I'm going to go with number 3, that seems like the easy guess.

Is far as I recall, it was Shakira, not Madhuri.

I agree with Pensive, I think it was Shakira.

For Robin's question i'll go with Idril.

I guess I agree with Pensive too.

    As for the enigmatic Robin,

    1. I do know that Robin hasn't done as much archery as he wants. Even I have shot a bow.
    2. According to these definitions of ambidextrous, Robin certainly fits those requirements.
    3. Although this seems obvious, seeing as the above appear to be true, I shall choose the path not taken, and say #1 is a lie.

I'll say two more guesses before I reveal the answer...

Logic would dictate that if this is really two truths and a lie, number three would have to be a lie. But Robin is tricky, and I suspect he has turned this into two lies and one truth. He has no doubt shot a bow at some point in his life as do most young men who take Robin Hood for a hero. The other two are lies. Quoth the Dragon.

Does logic truly dictate so, Pen?

If the first be true and the second false, the third is true as well. And if I'm as tricky as you say, that would make the second true, in a sense. But that would make the third false, unless the first was false...

Round and round the reasoning goes...what it concludes, only Robin knows.

Yes, but if there has to be one false the third one if it is true will make two false. The second one being true does not have any effect on the first one's truthfulness. Or vise-versa. Now I see what you mean. Logic dictates a different line of reasoning. Number 2 is the one that can be removed with out harming the equation. So number 2 is false.

    No reply. Hummmmmm.

OK. Two truths and a lie.

1.) I am a freak about edged weapons and own well over 100 knives, swords, or other bladed weapons.

2.) I recently acquired two books originally published as Pulp Magazines in 1937, about a hero called Captain Future.

3.) As you know, I write about The Shadow. I have the entire Shadow Collection from the pulp magazines. Of the more than 350 novels, I desktop published 200+ with the original magazine covers, and have them bound in report folders.

Who knows what lurks in the heart of Pen? Does even The Shadow know?
