hehe, i like "Witchy" so you can call me that piglet... but what i find even funnier is the way Pensy calls me just plain Witch
sorry it took me so long to reply, been on holidays in Cornwall
Hey Witch! I hope you enjoyed your holidays in Cornwell.

I am sorry for my ignorance but what's a field trip and where are you going for that?

BTW, I love to call you Witch, it suits you and the word has a lovely sound.
I sang of leaves, of leaves of gold, and leaves of gold there grew.

we're going to London. a friend of mine has just been on a trip to Iceland as part of her studies.
it's like a study trip where we look at geographically relevant aspects of the place we visit.. e.g. in London we'll be visiting sites that have to do with London's role as a global city (e.g. financial district, multicultural London etc)
at my univ there are trips to lots of places, e.g. South America, Africa (Mozambique), Central Asia (one of our profs used to do Pakistan and I wanted to go on that trip but he left our univ so it's not on any more ), Mongolia (been there), Russia, USA, England....

Oh, this is a pity, you should have visited Pakistan, we have fun places over here especially in Lahore. Lahore is the city of food. (variety of food) And there are beautiful mountains in Murree, Sawat, Naraan, Kaghan and of course in Kashmir.

But cheer up! London is cool too. I am sure you will enjoy your trip over there.

hehe, I don't think our prof would have allowed us to get gorged on food in Lahore he would have made us climb a 4, 000 m mountain and cross a glacier to visit the Hunza or something that's what they did on his previous trips
yep, I'm sure I'll have fun in London
