I think there is also a division of engineering denoted as Environmental Engineering, is there not? Maybe you should go there, Robin.
My significant other is taking the PE exam in a month, and is also marketing his first novel and working on his second, so I'm thinking you all could start a new trend - Novel Engineering, or a new genre . . . .

Was I that obvious in the last one?Robin, personally I think you should definately keep up the writing, even if you decide to take your career into a different direction, keep spending time with it. The three stories you've submitted for the competition are all of a very high quality, . Each one tackless a totaly different subject, which shows your willingness to experiment.
At any rate, thanks for the advice. I'm definitely leaning towards the writing, but not before getting a toehold in the market.
And actually, there's presumably 19 official major fields of engineering.

Interesting interview Robin. About taking up a course may I suggest you something, why dont you go for Journalism. You can take it up as a profession and you can pursue your writing. Ofcourse, you'll have to see what kind of journals you want to write. Good Luck, for whichever stream you choose.
