I've written a 5 page research paper with this topic:
You are to locate in the author’s personal life – and in the author’s fiction – any factors significant enough to influence the author’s personal character formation. In addition, you are to explain how these influences (that is, aspects of the author’s background) contributed to the meaning, usually in all of the author’s works. To do this, you have to quote directly from your chosen author’s fiction texts to support your claims, as well as secure academic support from scholastic sources. In effect, then, you are writing an argument – that is, supporting your thesis with evidence.
Author being "Jack London".
