    hypocrasy contradiction

    how does chakespeare present the idea that human behaviour is filled with contradiction/hipcracy?.....help

    Two (obvious) examples off the top of my head are Angelo from Measure for Measure and Malvolio from Twelfth Night...

    i doubt what i say will still help now... but...

    haha.. you post in June and i reply like.. now??
    anyway, hypocrasy seen in Merchant of Venice:
    1. When Shylock deceives Antonio into sealing unto his bond, he was being a hypocrite..?
    2. Quote: An evil soul producing holy witness,
    Is like a villian with a smiling cheek,
    A goodly apple rotten at the heart.
    O, what a goodly outside falsehood hath!

    This was said by Antonio to Bassanio, preaching him not to believe Shylock. However, at the end of the scene, he actually believed that Shylock is being kind (change of mind). --- contradiction of his own

    I am not sure.. you might want to try these points above.. hope it helps!
