Hi Bandini--Love the goofy little creature in your pic. Just wondering if you don't know how to use the url to put the pic directly into the post or if you just prefer using links? Let us know if you'd like to learn how.

It was a witch's familiar.
I would like to learn! Tell me how?
OK, here's what you do. I find it easiest to just have two windows open at time, but whatever works best for you:I would like to learn! Tell me how?
1. Find your image and copy the url for that image
2. When you go to post your message here you'll need to use the "insert image" button which is in the same row with the bold and italics and quotations and all that. It looks like a yellow box with what look like grey mountain peaks in it, just to the left of the hyperlink button. Click on that and it'll open a box for you.
3. Type or paste your url into the box and hit OK. I've sometimes had trouble pasting into the box, so I paste the url into my message, select it with my mouse, and then hit the image button. If it works right you'll have little [image] things around the url and the image will appear in your preview when you hit "preview post"
4. Bonus info/warning: Recently people have been becoming concerned about hotlinking photos directly (meaning using the url directly from the site where the image originally came from). Evidently this steals bandwith or something (I don't follow it all but it seems to be something that makes website managers furious). To avoid this I've been uploading photos to photobucket.com, a free online image hosting service, using the original url, and then using the url photobucket provides to post here. It's one extra step, but it's evidently better web etiquette. I'll leave it to you how complicated you want to get though.![]()

To learn more about "hotlinking" ( I use photobucket as well, and transferring the image url as described by Petrarch's Love is quite simple)
