Anyway, back to the best of '03.....

Hail to the Thief by Radiohead (another great album)
Straw Dogs by John Gray (at last these ideas are becoming more and more mainstream)
The Light of Day by Graham Swift (nearly everything he does is great - Last Orders was his magnum opus)
Kitchen Stories (what a brilliant film)

I think all these were 2003, could be wrong though!

    Mine:
Bowling for Columbine, for making me want to watch it over and over.
Elephant, by The White Stripes. Their finest piece. Best rock I've heard lately, and there's only two of them.

If you like The White Stripes, crisaor, you might want to check out Yo La Tengo, they were a prototype for Jack and Meg White.

Thanks, Kinch, I will . I've heard of them in the past (it's not very usual for an english speaking band to have a spanish name). I'll try to listen to some of their stuff and I'll let you know what I think.

Was Bowling for Columbine 2003? I thought it was 2002. Oh well. If it was 2003 it definately makes my list.

Actually, Kik, you've made me doubt. It may have premiered in 2002, I'm not sure about it. I allowed myself to name it because where I live it hit the theatres in 2003 (and because I like it, LOL)
