It depends what you mean by optical illusion.
Jabberwocky could be considered an optical illusion becasue it's a looking-glass poem.
Sorry I can't be of more help, I haven't read the book in awhile, I've been meaning to go over it again - such an amazing book.
I wrote a poem on a leaf and it blew away...
10x Charles.I'll look into it.I haven't had time to read the book yet.The fact is that I'm helping an Italian student who is doing her 'maturità'(final exams of high school).She attends an Art School and she's going to write about Escher.So she wants something along those lines for English Lit.
I teach her Maths actually.(My degree is in Maths and Chem but she often asks me about Eng grammar and lit)
